ArtsATL is presenting the second annual Luminary Awards. For the Beacon Award for Community Engagement, ArtsATL’s selection panel will honor Out On Film, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year serving the Atlanta area’s LGBTQ community and its allies. Since its inception in 1987, the organization has grown to become a nationally renowned film festival, screening more than 120 films over the course of 11 days, working with partnered organizations such as Atlanta Pride, Georgia Equality, The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, the Atlanta Film Festival, and SAGE Atlanta, among others.
